I prefer something meaningful like a self made card or a poem or somethign sentimental as such. Just me.

last year my aunt got me a computer for Vday which happens to come around tax refund time

Now THATS a nice gift. My ex before last one yr got me a wireless mouse and a new graphics card for my desktop that he built for me the yr before. Still have it all but harddrive took a dump, gotta bring it down to him to fix again. But for now my laptop works just FINE. But he did make the card for me, off the computer !!! lol

Humm myself I'm mot into the big gifts on Valentine Day. I get both of my kids and my granddaughter normally one of those big lips made of chocolate a card and a small gift. And I buy me one of them as well. Actually a few times I have taken myself out to lunch during the day to miss the night couple crowds. But now if I was with someone even a nice dinner at home just the two of us would be good enough for me. A card and a single rose to me means just as much as the whole dozen does. To me it is all within the thoughts not how much one can buy someone. And too many now days sees Valentines Day for only the women to me that is so wrong. But it has become so overrated it is unreal...........
