When I first met the last guy I dated I didn't think he was all that
attractive but the more I was around him the more I found I wanted to be
around him. As time went on he actually became more attractive to me.
I really think he did get more attractive in reality. Sometimes love
just makes a person look better because even other people noticed and
told him how good he looked. We didn't end up together but we are still
friends. He married someone else but he still is a nice looking man.

Okay, I've admitted to being a little superficial myself, but the title
of this post alone made my skin crawl. "Ugly" is a loose term... I've
dated a few guys that my friends were like "what were you thinking" but
they were really amazing guys, just not so attractive. If you find the
beauty within, then the outside becomes more attractive.

I agree looks are relative to what u consider beauty is, and I look for
beauty in the heart of that lady!!!!!!!!

"ugly" is subjective but I do KNOW that the guy you are least attracted
to tends to treat you like a QUEEN! flowerforyou

What's ugly to one is beautiful to another, so I would date whomever I
felt attracted to...glasses

Thanks, my birthday party last night brought this on. I met a great
guy, but he's pretty ugly. Oddly enough, when he showed me a pic of his
kids, his ex wife was in the pic and she's hot, so, being on the ugly
side myself, I was wondering if he and I stood a chance of getting
together as we match a lot better than he and his ex wife did,
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Oh well, too much to drink always brings on this kind of thinking. Next
time I'll stick to beer and bars without mirrors...

Now, where's the hot coffee??? :)

If they were a nice, sincere, caring, loving etc...person then yes I
would. But what constitutes ugly? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
and that includes the inside.

I've met some people who weren't so great in the looks dept and they
were ugly on the inside, so it is a mtter of the person and who they
are.

Aw thanks, Marie, you are something special yourself. And you make a
mean marshmallow chocolate pie. Mmmmmmmmmmm, I can feel a visit to the
Eats Commune coming on... :)

I try not to judge what a person looks like.....If they had an ugly
personality, then no, I wouldn't.flowerforyou

Well, I'm sayin I wouldn't "DATE" someone I wasn't attracted to.
To me that would be leading them on.
But, I would be their friend if they were a good person.
I don't date someone just to have a date, the goal is to find someone I
could have a relationship with.
