TITLE: DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR?

“Did you hear that Peter?”

“Hear what dear?”

“Those noises!”

“Um…no, I didn’t hear anything. What did they sound like?”

“Very strange. Sounded like a thump, a whisper and laughter, all at the same time.”

“Well, that’s a weird combination. Which sound did you hear first?”

“All of them.”

“I don’t think that’s possible dear. One sound must have been the first, second or third”.

Peter walked over to the coffee table and tapped it three times with the knuckles of his left hand.

“Did it sound like this?”

“Nope.”

He then walked over to whisper in her left ear.

“Did it sound like this?”

“Nope”.

He laughed out loud from a radius of two feet from the left of her.

“Did it sound like that?”

“Nope.”

Peter decided to take a different approach.

He walked over to the coffee table once again and tapped it with the knuckles of his right hand.

“Did it sound like this?”

“Yes, that’s it!”

He again walked over to whisper in her right ear.

“Did it sound like this?”

“Yes, it did!

He laughed out loud from a radius of one foot while standing to the right of her.

“Did it sound like this?”

“Yes, yes…so you did hear the noises!”
