As you know unfortunately there are divorces very frequent today. In
this day and age marriages fall apart and the divorce rate is high.
indifferent

When I am in a long relationship what is a good time span to wait until
marriage? That could be a number of years or months.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, well I'm a youngin'. I want advice from those experienced in
long-term relationships, marriages, and divorced.

All of my fellow high school graduates are either engaged or married
with kids right now!

True but people who get married after a year tend to break up quickly.

There is no timeline, baby; no magic formula. There is a magic potion
that... Anyway, your heart will let you know. Do not rush it.

The ex and I dated 1-1/2 years before we got married. I'd say that was a
pretty good amount of time, not too long--not too short, but I've been
wrong!

I dated my husband 2 and a half years before we got married but we were
young and we wanted him to finish school before we got married.

Well my opinion on that is threre is no time frame in order to wait it
all depends on the two involved. My ex and I only dated for about 3
months before we got married and was married 11 years everyone it
differnt at that time when it happens go with your heart you will know
what is right for you.bigsmile

Actually has nothing to do with being bold I knew from the moment I saw
him he was the one. Well thought it would last a life time but we are
never sure how long they will last. But can't complain I have 2 kids
that have been my heart and my world from the marriage so regardless of
what happen I have memories for a life time. bigsmile
