Tanya helped me think of this
My favorite memory was going to Granny's house! I just loved going there and her making me Chocolate Malt O Meal. What is yours? |

Seeing my grandmother's africa violets under the lights. Looking at her cocktails chirping and throwing seed. Being in the kitchen. My grandmother making tuna fish sandwiches for lunch. She asked me if I like onions in it. Then once lunch was ready, my grandmother yelling out to the barn for my grandfather.

Mine: When my brother, sister and I were kids, we entertained each other with shows made up with our imagination. I created the Water Baby Show in our toy house. The show was done almost everyday. Another thing we did was tape record ourselves using some scenes from the radio. We'll record a song or a person talking...then we'd switch the recording to the microphone so we can say whatever we wanted. Sometimes we'd do stories or make up songs, jingles, or commercials. I'm telling you...we never stayed bored. I really wish I knew where those tapes went.

Being from town, mine was a week every summer spent at my cousins on the farm. Riding horses, playing in the creek, sleeping outside, getting lost in the corn fields. Basically everything I couldn't do in town.

I think it is great to read all of these.....
I use to go on the fishing trips and I would catch more than anyone else. Now that I am a parent, I still do it. But I don't catch as much. Guess the story they use to tell me "I can't catch them while I am taking them off of your hook is true" |

My father was a single father for a while... I remember staying up way to late... laying across the dinning room chairs... watching the twilight zone and ripley's believe it or not on a small black and white tv.
