What do you suggest? Just started looking because my jogging shoes started coming apart. I'm looking at some New Balance cross trainers at the moment.

Everyone has their preferences. I like Asics, and I use one that has more stability, than a typical running shoe.
It is best to go to a store that has people that are actually knowledgeable about running. I'm lucky, because we have one here that only hires clerks that are experienced runners. It is more expensive than going to Walmart, but well worth it. (Walmart carries many of the same brands, and they are cheaper, but often because they are the low-end models for each brand.) |

I'm just watching and taking notes
I need a new pair also I just realized that my favs are like ten years old (where the hell does the time go?) they look pretty grubby but are soooo comfy so I prolly ought to get a new pair |

I'm not really a runner per say.....fluffy chicks look odd doing that, however I like a comfy shoe to exercise in. My favs right now have been adidas. The toe box just seems better. You runners should be getting new shoes frequently, or your feet will be BAD in no time!

Hummm well my son swears by the Nike Shox are the best at least for him. He tends to lean in towards the inside of his shoes had to have supports put in his shoes as a kid.
Actually just bought him a pair of them for X-mas they run approx $120. Those are the only ones he will wear and actually he bought me a pair for Mothers Day a couple of years ago and I like them as well to me they are good for walking. |
