I think fear of the unknown is very common.

I think laziness. Some people are either too stupid to get scared or somehow always figure out a way to get by.

I think the most common human trait is Fear, which leads to being unsure of ones self, anger, submissiveness. etc. The other most common human trait is Love, which leads to confidence, dedication, drive, passion etc. It's a love/hate relationship with ones self. That is the joy of being human and having a conscience.

It depends mostly on where you are but I think the worst in America is laziness.
