So, this weekend I ran an ad in a local on line area wide social/business site: "Wanted: human pet. Must be obedient and house trained. Must come when I call and go outside when disobedient. Must enjoy lovin and belly rubbin." I swear, every damned freak around came runnin. I just posted it as a joke and expected 1-2 responses....as of this morning....68 replies. Apparently there is a market for human pets. Who knew?

Why is it that those that have such brilliant voices usually have such tortured souls? It's usually a trade-off, either you get creativity or you get peace. I wonder if anyone ever gets both.

Why do you crave someone you gave up? There is comfort in the familiar. Even if the familiar is not good for us. Growth is uncomfortable but always worth it in the end.
