Please ignore the meanness that occurs at times. I have been online for
8 years, and saw what the meanness did to a great chat room.
Once a month we got together at a centralized hotel, rented a large
room, paid a fee of $5 to get in, paid for own drinks, and got together
to dance, chat, laugh, and just have fun with friends.
The meanness that occurred ended up destroying these times. The chat
room is no longer opened, and the parties are at an end. Gossip abounded
from those who just went to see what trouble they could occur the next
day in the chat.
I am lucky enough that I still am in touch with serveral of the friends
I made by attending the parties. The sad thing is that there is now no
opportunity to meet new friends in a large group with a safe location.
Just enjoy each other, and overlook the meanness, everyone has bad days.
Ok enough with my preaching. Just have fun.

I call it disrespect.I try to nice to people on JSH.

Unfortunately, it only takes one or two bad ones to ruin it for
everybody.

We've been somewhat lucky here, in that there have been comparatively
few who have actually been major problems -- there's the occasional
troll (like that puppy guy who complained about how everyone was old and
ugly -- and how Pavlovian was THAT, when seemingly EVERYBODY jumped all
over him, giving him exactly the attention he was seeking?) -- and a
couple of others who were either simply too juvenile or too stupid to
understand a basic concept like "civility."

But I think most of us go into the situation with an attitude of "Let's
treat everyone with respect and try to get along."

Meanness is an indicator of something going on in the mind of the person
being mean. Sometimes you can help them deal with that. Sometimes you
can't. All we can really do for certain is monitor and control our OWN
actions and reactions. And if we all do that, and if everyone starts
from a position of respect, there shouldn't be a lot of meanness at
all....

Hey Dan! -- The lizard ate a goat -- after that I made sure he respected
everybody. Except for the next goat he ate. Can't win 'em
all....

I think I signed off too early last night. Missed hearing about the goat
eating lizard.....Now just how big is that lizard?

well it had to do with midgets too and she nerd must have beed kinda
snocker cause she was tryem all.

Hmmm I believe I know where the midgets came into play.....blame that on

I missed something, meanness, lizards, oh well.

I drank a lot of goat fried Jello and was jugging midgets. It's all
Kor's fault cause he's such a good cook. I just can't say no to good
food or big scary lizards...

Too much drama and buttin' into each others buisness. Just roll with it
and have fun.

Raising two teens on my own, and the drama at work is more than enough
for me. I am on here to make friends, and to have fun.

Agree with you Snuggles and the rest, we come on here to meet people and
have a good time. Need to treat each other with respect. I have made
many friends on here and hope to make more, and my friends are an
important part of my life.

One major problem though, I find myself staying up a whole lot later
than usual, but it is fun.
