Topic: Sarah Palin takes Fox News commentator job | |
---|---|
Palin majored in journalism with an emphasis on broadcasting at the University of Idaho and worked part-time as a weekend sportscaster in 1988 for KTUU-TV in Anchorage. She wasn't married at the time and used her maiden name Heath. The station's sports director, John Carpenter, said the young broadcaster left after a few months because of the low pay. Carpenter said he was sorry to see her go. She was a hard worker who enjoyed the entire process, not just being in front of the cameras, he said. "She knew sports, she could talk sports, she looked OK on TV," Carpenter said. "She had the aptitude, no question." so its not really such a stretch for her to actually have a job on TV. And I can't see her having a show on CNN or MSNBC. I don't know anything about her and don't care to watch her on TV. But it is funny how many people know as much about her as I do and pile on with all kinds of (probably not even true) insult towards her just because it's the popular thing to do |

Are you putting on me? This disaster of a politician might have become a heartbeat away from becoming president. I take stabs at her because I love my country and care about having good competent leadership. She is NOT those....and I know a lot about her...of course all you had to do was watch her interviews during the campaign...she's the blank in a starter pistol. Anyone who takes her seriously as a viable presidential candidate must have eaten a lot of paint chips as a child...so demographically she's perfect for FOCKS. http://www.literaryescorts.com/?act=non-fiction&item=567 (Some videos of her cluelessness on above link for those who'd like to comment about her and know what they are talking about) |

We dont do it for boat loads of cash either. We do it not for fame or fortune but because it is the right thing to do. Fox News host Glenn Beck is captured on video during a photo shoot having Vick's vapor rub smeared under his eyes to induce tears as he joked his eyes are getting used to it. http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/279964 |

it's amusing how some people can waste no effort demonizing and smearing her Most people dont know anyting about her beyond this caricature of her that the left has promulgated she must be pretty effective for the right or else she wouldn't inspire such venom from the left Well, what if we were in the Universe where Spock had a beard and Palin was a liberal? It boggles the mind to think of how the Triune Avatar of Rightwing Sulpher (Rove, Limbaugh and Coulter) would bespeak their venom. Personally, I think she's getting off pretty easy. But I'll see your bet and raise you the book 'Game Change', which quotes sources inside the McCain campaign on how Palin honestly believed Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11 and reportedly muffed questions about the differences between North and South Korea. And there's always the piece d' resistance-- quitting the governship of Alaska to become a media star. Priceless. And nobody is making that up. -Kerry O. |

I'm already taking bets, that she is gonna run in the 2012 elections. And she will have a huge fan base and a significant voting base.
It's just further proves, that once the media elects their favorite people, no one else can penetrate the vicious inner circles of the "elites". You will be given a choice of bad and worse, God forbid, there will be anyone else consider to run, who got nothing to do with the previous election or hasn't financed by either a large interest group or the 2 giant parties, who are pretty much on the same (crash) course anyway. Elections are now on..are nothing but giant circuses of media stars running for elections but they have little or absolutely no skills in the field whatsoever, or if they do, they serve a special interest for one group or another. While Bush was the oil company's puppet, Obama is Wall Street's. |

It bears repeating, 2 years is forever in American presidential politics. The Clintons were already counting their chickens after the 2006 Democratic sweeps and the righties thought it was going to the authoritarian Guiliani. Then Obama came out of nowhere and McCain deflected the Far Right's 'RINO' label by giving them Palin. Nobody saw that coming, either. As for Palin's Fox stint allowing her to pull off what Obama did? I highly doubt it. How's that Bob Seger song go? Here I am On the road again There I am Up on the stage Here I go Playin' the star again There I go Turn the page -Kerry O. |
