Ok there is this one guy I started talking to a while ago, after a while I came to realize he is not my type at all. I let him know that we can be friends but nothing more, I don't see him like that. So what does he do? Adds me to facebook, his yahoo IM an will not stop texting me!!!

Block him and unfriend him on FB. You can do both. Call your cell phone service to find out how to block his texts. Sorry you are dealing with this.

Why do people do this.
Because you said, "nothing more than friends". He now sees it as a challenge. It's simple, really, "Un-friend" him from FB and remove him (block) him from your IM, and you can have his # blocked (phone). You might even ask him to grow up. |

I did not know he was like this. it is strictly an ego thing on his part. he just can't "fail" he must win you over. he can't give up or it will be a blow to his frail ego. he is too proud to be dumped. he needs counseling and someone to firmly tell him to BACK OFF - preferably a male relative of yours who looks like someone you don't want to if you seek a with. 
it shows shocking insecurity and immaturity on his part but you cannot be friends with such a person until they learn to cope. |
