i just got a strange phone call on my cell phone, looking for someone by the name heather and when i had ask who they were they didnt say and she said are you sure there is no heather there. i told her i have had my cellphone for 2yrs and i dont know heather whatever her lastname was
but when i tried calling that number back it states clearly the number had been disconnected thats within a 10min period. and several months ago i had someone call and asking for a alex for he aparently had filed a police report back in april. well that part sounds a bit fishy for he may not had wanted to get in trouble so he gave out any number that came to his head.. |

The next time you get a call like that say, "Just a minute." Come back with your voice disguised and be that person. Not only will you have fun but you might find out what the deal is.

What's the question? I looked all over :) Seriously, a phone call can be spoofed (technically, it's called "caller ID spoofing") and people do it for a number of reasons. One might be that most people will setup their phone to not accept calls that are "block caller ID" - you know, the calls that comes in as "private" (or other synonyms). And some people do it to hide their true identify ... there are other reasons, of course. And because of these reasons (and others), I have a Google Voice (formerly GrandCentral) phone line. There are so many cool features with G.V., I wish all phone services offered these unique features. |

Get a large sheet of tin-foil and wrap it tightly around your phone. They wont be able to see you and the calls will stop.

It was seriously probably some kind of spammer or something of that nature. I was told not to call those people back...

Could be a cell that can only dial out.
