Yep. And just look around at how many people are completely willing to allow HALF OF THE COUNTRY to be completely and utterly ignored in the name of " change ".

The Dems are not going to allow the Republicans to say what the Republican constituents < who voted for those Republicans > have to say about the bill.

That, beyond anything else, would qualify as " bad manners " than ANYTHING the Republicans have done at this point.

After all, if the Dems DO manage to completely shut out the Republicans, they are basically telling half the population that they simply don't care what those people have to say because those people don't agree with them.

You are missing the entire point.

At no time over the last 8 years did the Republicans EVER say " You don't agree with us so you are not going to be allowed to debate the issue " to the Democrats.

The Republicans did things, even though you may not LIKE what they did, in accordance with the rules the founding fathers set forth.

Just because you don't like what the Republicans have to say, does not give you, the House, the Senate, OR the President the right to say " conversation over ".
