...for some of us WAY back...what was your most useless as boobies on a washing machine class?

I'd have to say band....haven't picked up a pair of sticks in over 20 years! I won all sorts of medals for drums, snare and quads, but now at 40 I wonder what good it did me?

I'd say algebra and all of those fun topics.

I am NOT using ...y = x + 5/25. find out what y is ... in any way shape or form.

That's pretty sad.

I was a math major for 2 years and studied all the way to Calculus II and I use it almost daily. The idea is not only to know formulas for calculating various numbers but to train the brain to think more logically.

But what I have learned and I was pretty good at is volley ball. I haven't done that for 15yrs now.

Math is hard for one who thinks with the heart and uses intuition..
no logic there.

I can't remember the name of it, but we had an awful teacher.
We had to build things with leggos, or make paper airplanes (that actually flew...)

It sounds like fun, but trust me, if I had gone through hell in 7th grade, that would have been it.

Although I wouldn't call any of them a waste of time. Algebra was about as useless as it got for me.

I still have no clue. Couldn't get my brain to see purpose in it...lol

I changed classes to practical math where they taught about taxes and checkbooks and stuff like that and enjoyed it much better.

Learning how to cheat on algebra exams. They said that would be a transferable skill, but all it did for me was it destroyed my marriage.
