Frankly Speaking


I think that I will fall for you.
It started as we spoke.
So very calm, just matter of fact,
Silence unprovoked.
I saw the world in different ways,
Traveled from my own.
We did not want to say good bye.
We heard it in our tones.
How many times we spent the night
Wrapped up in the moment,
Just two friends who care so much,
That take the time to show it.
Though it seems, we've always been.
Funny, how that works.
When we fall, remind me,
We, even, may get hurt.
