am sorry about the above... . You appear to be a really nice guy, keep your guard and heart up...she will come through in the end. I prefer to see all my past mistakes, i mean relationships as lessons to get through life. Tolerance, learning clues from others on what to avoid next time. Because of who I was - for the same thing- I attracted addicts for years. And was attracted to them. It was all very well hidden at first but always showed up. Then I began to pay attention in my late 20's, because it was like WTF? and only getting worse. Think of the image of the person you want..focus on that, don't be too picky and see what comes. Be mindful and also sit down and list common attributes among the last 5. Were your parents anything like that?. (Both my parents were addicts-alcohol). HMMMM says I. Everyone has flaws, it's just up to you what you will and won't tolerate. Good luck, I'd date you if I were 30 years younger

Wow, great topic...I have to say that I feel like that a lot of times, but I do realize that its not true...Women are just.....Different.

Well were different from each other...as it should be.

The closest thing I can come up with - and don't take an offense in this - women are like the dogs in a way, that they sense out those who either have a fear from them or they appear weak. They bark at them and play the angry violent one with the scared, but for those who just ignore them, they just shut up and look and the ones who have confidence, they back off slowly or feel attachment to them.

If you keep getting hooked up with crazies and sometimes act like a womanizer you probably have a reputation that preceeds you and the nice gals steer clear of you.

Watching where and what type of woman you pick has a lot to do with what you get. You get all goo goo eyed over some high maintenance spoiled princess who likes to get loose and party you can't complain about it when she gets submissive aggressive and sneaky when you try to settle her down and have her contribute. A leapord is not going to change her spots.

Nor can you say you want a woman who can pay her own way and think she is going to let you delegate her the chump chores or take critisisim from you or letting down the efforts to keep her happy. If you are lucky she will help you as much as you help her but if you go in being a doormat things are not likely to change. Woman who can't live with in her means are always going to have you in the hole.

I will always say that having a good partner is being a good partner. Courtesy, respect, kindness, affection have to be present if you want the sex and other perks of having a woman. Part of that is expecting them to give you the same thing.

Ok, what I really meant is...that women should be treated as equal as us humans, but should never be treated as another male. She should be treated as a woman and women are not equal men, no matter what they say. They are equal as same human beings but they are neither lower or upper on the scale but in a special place.
That's what many might mistake it for something else. They either feel they should be keeping some sort of a made up "balance" and they feel they shouldn't say this or do that, because "she might feel I'm over powering her" or something. At the end though he just gonna look like a giant tool. And then women starts to take things granted and eventually there is no more love whatsoever.
