I just bought a couple of catnip mice today.

Neither one of my cats wants anything to do with them

I think they are on to me.scared

My cat wasn't too excited either. My dog is bouncing off the walls though.noway Which is a good thing because then she will plot his demise instead of me. whoa

My cats always know when I am playing poker. That's when they decide to bother me. Every other time, they're sleeping.

Actually I gave my Bella away before my move, she is doing well...I miss her. Thinking about getting a dog once I find work and know my schedule.

My cats are looking suspiciously at me. I think they want me to put on Animal Planet for them. Yes, they do watch tv, but only certain shows, they're not into sports.

Just now my cat Amber jumped up on my chest and head-butted me. So I put her down and changed the channel to Animal Planet and the show "Cats101" is on. Now she's right in front of the tv, watching it intently. I guess she got tired of watching ESPN.

LOL my cat misses AP, he'll watch the nature shows on PBS sometimes though. He finds the fish tank to be more entertaining though.

OMG! She's still watching! Cats 101 must be her favorite show. It's like a student watching a lecture. laugh

If only students watched that intently!!! They and not cats (sadly) are our future rulers - would feel better about that if they watched (all) like cats do!

Cats are plotting to become our future rulers though.

I have heard once that most cat-owners are in tune with their cats. I have also heard that cat vocalisations and body language are intended solely for our benefit. I never thought I'd be able to speak "Catese" but I seem to be a natural at it.laugh

I've heard cats rarely meow in the wild. They meow when they're speaking to us.

I admit I was a bit frustrated by "Catese" - much better at "Dog speak" but then I hadn't had a cat as a house mate since a teen (in 50's now) Only got Bella because I wanted a companion and was not allowed a dog where I was living - had forgotten how great they are. Again, I miss her.

Well, not to fear, dogs communicate with us too, in different ways but they do. In fact, dogs are easier to figure out than cats. Gets me thinking, that cats are smarter than dogs, and maybe even humans. Sometimes I wish I was a cat.laugh
