Yes, they were getting mom ready for bed and saw some blood on her left hand. She just had a skin tare and they cleaned it up and put a bandage on it. She prolly done it on the wheelchair somehow. But she is fine, thank you..
 ...They are really good about calling for the least thing and we really like that about this home alot of them don't do it.

ya, your lucky..............too many of the homes just take care of it, & maybe let ya know about it, the next time your there!!!!

You are so right. The dr. that is in charge of this nursing home is my dr. We knew it would be a good one. And besides all that its the only one that has a lock down hall for patients like her. She would RUN away given a chance.

Yep she sure would. She stays behind locked doors. You have to have a code to get in. Alot of them will in her condition.

Its a sad thing to see. I know you know what is going on then.
I did get tickled the other day, she lost her horse...  ...she has never had a horse..I had 13 one time but she never did even take care of them or anything but she lost hers..

Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying at some of the things they talk about and as fast as they change the subject is unreal...

Just like she tells the aides an nurses we don't come but once a year...Yeah..right!!!..

i'm back....
Yep mom is not near as bad as some of them on her hall. At least most of the time she can tell you our names. Sometimes she gets confused on which one is who though. It is sad and it's just going to get worse...she has been there 2 years and it's already worse then it was.

The dr told me last time colitis (sp) can't spell it..and I started drinking alot of cranapple juice too and it stopped..Now about 3 days ago it started again. I'll get some juice tomorrow and see what happens if not better i'll go again.
