ok....so this brings up a question (and I'm being sincere about this question too) why do you suppose some people think it should be easier online and expect an instant date. Why would people think being online is like a magic wand? Because they think the people who have to " resort " to online dating are desperate. They also have the mistaken impression that, in some way, they are " better " or " different " from the hundreds of thousands of other people. |

True neither am I but figuring people out is the hardest thing to do.. Whatever you think is usually just an opinion b/c you cna never truly know what's in someone's head soooooooooooooooooo it's not uncommon to be at a loss for words in this type of situation..

what similarities and differences do you notice between the two when looking for someone special? online vs real life....well, real life is...real...online is...not real??? I've met one person from online that actually looked like her pics...out of quite a few who were 50+lbs heavier...and one that was 8 months pregnant ( It slipped her mind evidently to tell me about that ) I think I am more in favor of real life

what similarities and differences do you notice between the two when looking for someone special? There is NO difference between online or offline..People lie to you in either situation..The only way to have a successful relationship wether it starts online or face to face is HONESTY and most people..MALE OR FEMALE(So no I'm not gender bashing)do not have the truth in them..Damn I made it within 23mins of my 24hr vent free day..Oh well..theres always next year..lol. |

ok...when I was pregnant with my son, I don't think it ever slipped my mind
It was a strange date to be sure...I went through with it though

I wasn't going to tell everyone... I think we've all experienced people that haven't been honest but I think we've also ALL experienced people that were.. I think some people forget about them b/c they weren't interested... It's easy to say "everyone is fake" when you're not finding what you want or you've wanted someone that was fake but reality is they're no more fake or real online or in real life.. A person in real life can lie through their teeth, how does that make them different from online? It doesn't.... |
