We don't do a big Christmas thing however I do get my boys a few
little things and always give them cash, their teenage boys,
that's what they like. We did our humble exchange tonight.

So those of you that do the tree and gifts and all....do you open
the gifts on Christmas Eve, or wait until Christmas morning?

I've always let the kids open one present on Christmas Eve,
and the rest in the morning when they get up, then have
breakfast.

Well usually we open gifts on Christmas Eve, I have done this my whole life. This year my son has a fiance so to make it easier on them, we opened gifts on Wednesday night.
All of our Christmas Eve plans with my brother and his fiance got changed due to the ice storm here in Indiana. You have to love this Indiana weather

Same here. Give my kids and grandkids a call Christmas eve.
Other than that, it's just another day.
I do remember the reason behind the day and am thankful he happened.

Both!

When I was young we would go to Grandma's on Christmas Eve so she could spoil us rotten. Then on Christmas morning Mom got her turn!

Christmas Eve (dec 24th) yesterday, just after dark. Today is the "day" of it, but there isn't anything going on, but me thinking about watching Star Trek. It's a damn boring day. yawn We don't go to church. We aren't that religious. Actually come to think of it, i'm the only one baptised in the whole family. My mom and my younger brother are both pagans.

My son had to work (ODOT) and my oldest daughter is in Denver..Gdaughter went to Denver to spend Xmas with her mom... So many in the family are gone now, just not the same but we try....

We always do our "big" one on Christmas Eve. Then, no matter how old they are, Santa still fills the stockings and gives them each one big gift.
