My 125 lbs. male American Pitt is solid muscle, only gets pedigree dog food and a small scrap or two of human food. At 9 years old, he still acts and plays as much as when he was just a little pup. He never gets any junk (chocolate, sweets, grapes etc.) although he does love lettuce for some strange reason. As cute as he is and as much as he wants it, he will never get more than a scrap or two of human food.
