I don't know if anyone else skates or just watches the videos... but if you do, post a link to one of your favorite clips or parts.

Wicked old school! Loved the hippy jumps, and that double tree plant was awesome...still have to side with my man Rodney Mullen, but none-the-less Richie has some tricks. Cheers mate!

"It's one thing to watch a ten year old kid noseblunt-slide a rail, but when Heath does it it's just so much gnarlier - because you know he's going to fly at it as fast as he can and either make it look flawless or completely eat ****."
Heath Kirchart - Sight Unseen (with a minute intro about the part) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGybTyUf9co |

The last two tricks were on a broken ankle, by the way.
Just watch and love. Danny Way - The DC Video (just the Mega Ramp part [he created the Mega Ramp]) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aosZJYFbnQ |

Agreed about Rodney Mullen, he's insane at street skating.
![]() Also there is a Circa dvd I have with some nice stuff, will post my two fav clips from it when I'm not on my ipod touch. Speaking of skating, does anyone like the movie Gleaming The Cube? |
|
|
|
Haha. Gleaming the Cube was such a let-down of a movie. It took me forever to find a copy and there was barely any skating in it. Although I do think being Melon-grabbed unconscious is still pretty sweet.

I actually still like the movie, regardless of the bad acting by some of the actors, ha. And no surprise that Rodney Mullen did stunts for Christian Slater, which is obvious in the construction site where he is skating alone to escape from everyday b.s., etc. Mike McGill was the other stunt double so he's more than likely the one who did the melon grab. It came out when I was 15 but have yet to buy a copy, just recorded it off HBO I think it was.
