You Know, Never Say Never

I close myself off, easily.
The languid phrases congeal
staring into my oblivion,
sweet oblivion,
festering and darkening.
Still, you will only see aubergine.
For black, the blackest is smooth,
cool onyx.
Just look into my eyes, they do not turn
hard or disgusting, yet,
I am closed off.
That inaudible signal does not draw
a seduction. So, read me ,
only, for no disgust,
can muster from my depths,
only pain of never,
lust..will kiss all that remains.
