HA now that I got you to read this... Why is when I see a post from a female there is at least 5 or more replies but when a male does it he has a better chance of going to the moon before they get a reply...

It is very simple females answer the second question and the males you know what to do.

My answer: I join because I am 30 and still single. Mainly because I am a homebody and do not like to leave the comforts of my house. And I am on the shy side at first. Although get me where I feel comfortable and you would not know it.... I am walking HR compliant.

Im not sure women get more responses to posts than men. My first ever thread on this site got over a thousand responses. But then maybe i am just extremely sexy.

I think it probably has to do with the content of the post and if the person is a regular on the forums. However, I have noticed when a new female posts in the new member forums, there are more responses from 'lurkers'.



I joined because I was recently single. I figured it was a good way to supplement real life dating activities. Since I don't really go to the bar and being a single parent, this limits where I can meet people in socially acceptable places.... not necessarily cool to meet people at work when you are in a supervisory position.

I think you just need a pick a topic that every knows...or think they know about so people actually feel like they have something to say or an opinion on the subject...

Or you can do the complete opposite and make a post that limits any amount of thinking that they need to do...simple 'yes/no' type question.

But I do know that as far as new members are generally concerned the ones that get the most replies are females but that is just because we are a bunch of horny nerds on here
