I'm happy...that is my success. Whip cream on top of the sundae is Nice Guy Fingers, which are really just fried up nice guys fing...err...well, erhm, I guess...nevermind, a sundae will do...

Pssst, call them Chicken Fingers, so no one will know. And that way, you're not really lying, because most nice guys really are chickens.laugh :wink:

But that isn't what I have written down in my recipe book...

I know, sweetie, I just meant in polite company, because otherwise they get all skeered and start wondering what's under the stoop and stuff.....

Well, if they wouldn't move around so much down there no one would wonder what is down there because they wouldn't hear anything...

That's why I suggested more blankets, perhaps a comforter or two, to mask the noise. I think Walmart has a sale on them, I'd run out and grab a few for you, but my front steps are under snow so I'm rather, ah stuck.tears

My God! They have a blanket already, and a bloody candle...WTF more do they need?! Spoiled stoop peo...err...mice...

So many people are chasing the perverbial pink elephant tring to find what makes them happy, successful, and content. List the things in life that make you happy and suuccessfull in life. What do you strife for in life that make you happy and successful??

Personally, I strive for getting laid and a cheezeburger.

My life is half unfulfilled, and half empty.

Continuing the thought: A full tank of gas would not be so shabby, either. And a bottle of the elyxir of eternal life, youth, beauty and vampire-repellent. Mmm. I bet that elyxir tastes like chocolate mousse.

Five comforters will not imitate their natural habitat though...they really only need two and they already have one. I did replace the candle last month, if they weren't so needy I would probably try harder to take care of them...and they're stringy, I don't like eati...err, erhm...stringy mice, yeah...

I just love it when you take charge....now that truly makes me happy...however, I'm still sending them a care package with hot chocolate in it, and you better not confiscate it or I'll know.tongue2

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.

Most repectfully: I heard that the exact opposite is true. Not this one.

Most repectfully: I heard that the exact opposite is true. Not this one.

1. In other words, you seem to be claiming (or heard that)
Happiness is not the key to Success. Success is the key to Happiness

I would sure agree with that wholeheartedly! As I stated above:

SUCCESS = Self-Actualization
HAPPINESS = Success + Unlimited Resources

Really, how can one be happy without realizing one's dreams what

2. Self-Actualization is a bit different from toys!
--> What good is a female mode of self-actualization (i.e. bearing a child), if there's no cash for rising her/im? ? ?

_____________________I copied this from another topig:

curiosity and intellectual gratification is a need just as hunger and thirst. According the Maslow's Heiarchy of human needs, when a person is concerned with food and shelter he doesnt have time for intellectual gratification. once the primal needs are met there is room for the next order of the heiarchy

Maslow's pyramid of heiarchial needs:
