Did you know that the week during and after the super bowl is the week where the most cases of spousal abuse reports are prevalent, it's almost 10 to 1 more than the next highest.

unable to conceive
why she couldn't leave
an anxiety attack
held her back
feeling low
from an "I told you so"
spoken by a clown
who had beaten her down
stealing her esteem
changing her dream
from happiness
to distress

she loved him
always thought of him
gave up her life
to become his wife
to honor and obey
a slave on the way
abused
misused
brutally battered
nothing else mattered
he'd already won
until the gun
tore through his heart
till death they depart
her vow
over now

Don't quite know why some women stick with the abuse... didn't know that about the super bowl.

I also didn't know of that....

Have known many women who have taken the abuse for years. The thing is you would never guess because a lot of them seem very strong on the outside. One never knows...

i never understood either side of it but, there is something about the human psyche that we just cant explain...
