Having been in speech therapy for eight years as a child.
And finding English only a class where others laughed at you. I found a desire to turn-away from using it much, as I never thought myself needing to spell or type much, being a truck driver, lol So,,in turn THAT gave me THIS,,,,,,,,,Below is MY PROBLEM,wink, lol Hippopotomonstrosesquippediliophobia. This word is blatantly intimidating and was almost certainly invented by a sadistic psychiatrist. At 36 letters, it’s longer than any of the words mentioned above and it means (I almost can’t believe it) the fear of long words. Only a sadistic psychiatrist would concoct such a word to describe the fear of such long words. I mean, how is that preferable longwordophobia? I was SOoooooo glad they FOUND a name for my fear,,,Lol,lol |

I prefer put together words that come into acceptance!
Here's a fav: ... Fantasmagorical ~ Quite simply the BEST word ever devised. It's a mixture of the words, 'fantastic', 'amazing' and 'magical' all in one juicy little package. It's important not to overuse the word. It's reserved for when ordinary, boring words just won't cut it. |

epeolatry - worship of words
You may be hard-pressed to find an admitted epolatrist because the term connotes a sort of blind devotion, sanctimony, or hypocrisy; or more specifically, an advanced form of reification. Figuratively speaking, the word can be playfully applied to philologists, linguists, or lexicographers. The term is of significant satirical value and may be used in the denigration of popular religions or belief systems. For example, one could call Christianity an epeolatric religion because the majority of its teachings hinge on the words of the Hebrew Bible. However, you are unlikely to encounter the word in any form because it remains obscure. Obscure - not readily understood or clearly expressed |
