I assume the boyfriend knows she is going out to clubs with you?

I don't know if he knows or not. Like me and her went to the club with her friend.

have you asked her?

still i dont see it as a problem, she going out with her friends and having a goodtime, its no big deal, geeze when my daughter was married to her ex hubby she went out dancing with her friends, it was nothing to worry about..
when i was in a past relationship with this guy i was with for 3/2yrs, i had a chance to go to see the chipndale dancers with a friend of mine. i went and it was no big deal it didnt bother the guy i was with in fact that nite he went with a friend of his to see the female dancers

I don't really either. to me it would be disrespectful to the boyfriend but the friend could answer better than people with only partial info.

I personally wouldn't do it whether the guy is ok with it or not....but that is just me.

But if the boyfriend is ok with it and doesn't mind, then why should others?

Only the boyfriend can answer the OP's question. The easiest way to tell if you are on the verge of cheating is to ask yourself how would you feel if your boyfriend or girlfriend walked in at that very moment.

Not cheating however......

It would depend on the type of dancing.
I mean.. if she is all over the guy.. That says very loud and clear just how serious she is about her BF. or not.

Yes, what yellowrose said, if the boyfriend knows and IS okay with it. Otherwise, lets face it, dancing with the opposite gender may be considered a courting gesture and she could be looking for the next man, or the side-man. This is a door that opens that gets you to the next level.

You don't ever do "girl's night out"?

the only part I might disagree with is the courting part. I think things have changed and most just see it as dancing. Kind of what you do at a club. (this coming from a retired dance teacher laugh )

I'm still a bit old fashioned. I still expect even my friends to ask the boyfriend to dance with me...not because I need permission but I see it as a sign of respect

If I am there, I don't mind her dancing with dudes as long as it doesn't get carried away. Mainly because I can't dance to save my life, but I wouldn't deprive her of it if it gives her the same joy that a lot of people get out of it.

However, if I'm not there...then I wouldn't be all that cool with it because it very well could get carried away.

* shrugs *

Just depends on the situation.

Yellowrose, you may disagree with me, but I have studied dance, especially the history and psychology of it. The way someone moves when they dance is an indicator of how interested they are in the other party, and possibly even an indicator of how good an intimate partner they would be. Why do most people go to clubs, to get their freak on later if they happen to hit the jackpot on the dance floor? Guys do this, girls do this. The strip club is one thing, it's entertainment as long as you don't go V.I.P. but clubbing, there's usually one purpose, well, maybe two if you want to get crunked-up.

I actually agree with that. I'm just saying (like my son's age...18) they look at it different than I do.

But I wouldn't do that myself anyway. It's disrespectful IMO for me to do that.

They dance like that (bump and grind stuff) in dance routines and at school dances these days laugh

OMG!!!

So that bullspit IS true!?!?!?!

What a crock o shite.

I have all the dancing ability of a 40 year old fat white guy.

But that has absolutely NOTHING to do with my level of interest OR my ability as a lover.

Sheesh.
