Topic: Beneath The Northern Lights... | |
---|---|
There beneath the northern sky, Amidst the stars that glow; There comes a light far brighter Than that of any light I know. With eyes that dance like fire, They pierce me to the soul; Seeking, searching, wanting, They haunt me 'ere I go. Sometimes the fire reminds me Of the things I wish to be, And number one among them Is with the brightest light I see. Time will alter nothing, For eternity has no end; The only end that binds us Is the end of death within. So open up, imagine, The potential you hold inside; Share yourself forever And let the stars collide. |

Thank you for sharing this piece.
For the first six years that Bernie and I were married, we lived in a small little town in Minnesota 1/4 mile from the Canadian Boarder. We saw and marveled many times at the Northern lights. We had plans to go back there someday and build us a log cabin. Bernie was going to run a launch on Lake of the Woods for tourists....but God had other plans and now Bernie is fishing for that big Walleye in Heaven and sitting on the porch of our dream home, I'm sure, watching lights a million times more beautiful than what God gave us here on earth. Although this writing brought a tear to my eye, I still found it beautiful and comforting. |
