He was great really, but tooooooooooooo slow... I can't go, watch, listen to that slow...

I remember him but never really watched it... His ability to make a REALLY good looking painting in about 25 minutes just astounded me when I would watch. I still catch his show on the local PBS station once in a while. |

Yes it is...we have a 2 hour train here in OK that does the polar express each christmas, everyone wears Jammies, they serve hot choc. Bug and I do that. Last year it was so freaking cold

I have quite a few " kid's movies " in my collection. I had a woman deride me because when she asked what my favorite movies were, my most favorite is Over The Hedge. She didn't understand why. " But that's a KID movie!!! " I just said..." And??? " |

Funny how you keep running into men like that....and I keep running into WOMEN who are like that. lol Another of my favs is Lilo and Stitch from Disney. Stitch is hilarious. I like anything that can make me laugh and most of the " comedies " made for adults are just stupid for stupid's sake to me. |

I used to like watching that dude do oil painting on tv. The white guy with a fro who always painted 'happy little trees'. Died a few years back if I recall? BOB ROSS!!!! I loved watching that dude!!! 
Ya! That's him. He was a bit amazing the stuff he could paint in 20ish minutes. I actually learned a few things from watching him that I still use occasionally in painting cars(etc)! |

Well the kids movies they have to put some innuendos in there for the adults to a least be able to handle watching the movie so it's good for both.. The kids don't get it and the adults have something to laugh about...
I like adult comedies too.. I like to laugh... We were just talking about "Airplane" the other day.. Stupid funny... |

Movies like Airplane and Caddyshack are good.
I'm referring to movies with Will Ferrell ( haven't seen one that I liked yet ) and Jack Black ( obnoxious dumbass ). I just don't find any humor in them. I take that back. ONE Jack Black movie ( School of Rock ) was pretty good and he wasn't too bad in King Kong. |
