Well damn, unfortunate all around. At least ya learned he isn't the one for ya AND where not to go for lunch!

Then do what I do, start making fun of him, at least you will get a laugh; I went out to dinner with a friend and in the middle of insulting her, she pointed her finger at me and yelled (yes yelled in the middle of the restaurant) "I rebuke that word in the name of Jesus Christ" I get a kick out of messing with people.

Sorry to hear that, but it is important to get out.
 Before meeting someone I would say that if there wasn't a connection we should tell each other at the end of the night. No use wasting time or saying you are going to call.
If I wasn't interested I would just shake his hand and wish him good luck in his search. This works well if you're just meeting for a drink-nothing that I would consider a date even. You did good that you didn't spend a whole evening on it.

You need to work on fixing your Picker; I screen out a heck of a lot of women before even going on a date; there are a heck of a lot of losers, boozers and such out there (thank goodness there are none here on Mingle!) Bust on them and see how they respond

Sorry it wasn't what you hoped for...but hey, what HAS happened has nothing to do with what could and likely will happen. Don't know why anyone would say Prince Charming doesn't exist with such definitiveness...maybe for them. But their experience probably isn't the WORLD's experience. Maybe he does for you...maybe he doesn't...given the choice of negative or positive thought...why not be positive?
