vegan, yes...raw, no. i like cooked veggies too much to give them up.
seriously, potatoes taste MUCH better cooked. good luck, lol...(oh, wait...as a raw foodist, you probably wouldn't eat root veggies, anyhow...so no potatoes for you!) |

That's a tough one. I am a vegetarian, in the process of becoming vegan.
Not sure about all that raw vegan stuff though. Good luck with that. Check out Peta2's website, they may be able to help you out. They're on MySpace too, so if you have a MySpace add them as your friend and have some of their friends help you out. |

Lulu, I ate raw vegan for a while, and fresh, high quality yams are
actually good raw! Not the dried woody stuff at the grocery store, but the kind at the farmers market. I'd eat them like... well, like carrots. |

HereIsWhere, how 'raw' do you plan to go? Because if you are open to
low-temp dehydration, there are so many cool things you can make. Like raw vegan 'cookies', made from sunflower seeds, applies, bananas, and anything else you'd like to add. It doesn't 'sound' good, but they are awesome, and blow Cliff's bars out of the water. |

i've not known many who were into that lifestyle, but the two that i did
know wouldn't eat any root vegetable, as that kills the plant. so sweet potatoes would be out, too. they ate anything that was able to be picked without harming the plant. i love sweet potatoes, but too much work if they aren't cooked, lol. i'm a complete vegetarian, and i lean heavily toward the vegan side. |
