That's really cool. I wish I had time to do stuff like that.

I know... I'm single and no family..I wish I wasn't though..so i gotta spend my free time, although a g/f wouldn't hurt to join me...it's not as fun doing this alone. ohwell

I'd bet $100 that there are at least half a dozen girls here that would go with you if you asked.

at least that many

Great pictures Atlantis.

Most of my trips have been travelling alone. A companion would be great for keeping me awake.

I'm suppose to drive to Missouri the end of this month. Nine hours one way. I'll remember the camera but doubt that my pictures will be as good as yours. Plus, I wouldn't know how to post them here.

If I we were you, I'd be waging a lot more than that!

I bet you never done that..

I've done it..and I made pictures of the sky, because I just really like the sky

Here is a few shots, forgive my dirty windshield (it snowed at one point) at times and shaky shots.

Ok, so started driving at 10, so not exactly sunrise..but I woke up at at sunrise  I have crossed 10 states and 3 time zones.

 cool:thumbsup:

Long road trips are often...

Did two of them one from Washington state to Washington D.C with the ex-wife

and one by myself from Pensacola Fl, to San Diego, Ca

I liked the alone one better:laughing:

I did a 6,000 mile trip in 3 wks this summer alone but didn't drive after dark, one thing I don't do when traveling alone.. I spent 9 days in Idaho at my brothers and 2 days in Rapid City( so I could go to Sturgis and see the bikes) so I had some days that I drove many miles.. I love to see the different areas.. Got to see the hugh windmills in Wisconsin,, Just miles and miles of them.. lookes so weird! Hope to do another trip next summer to the SW.. and yes, I always take lots of pics!!

Very cool pix!

I love road tripping. I always said if I hadn't popped out a kid I'd have been a cross country truck driver. I just adore cruising down the road, seeing the different towns, cities, landmarks, people. And I'm a loner so what better job than being your own boss and driving all over by yourself? Good money too from what I hear.

Maybe if this whole college education, get a career thing doesn't work out for me, I'll go get my CDL and hit the pavement in 2011! The kid will be gone finally and I'll be free! A cooler full of rootbeer, a bunch of CDs (finding radio stations cross country bites!), give me a map and I'm golden.

Last summer I drove up to Washington DC with my ex. 11 hours there (althought it's supposed to be about 6) It was a lot more fun though..although the 90F heat and no airconditioner didn't help much, neither the traffic jams in NJ and around DC...but i told her that if we brake down, then we gonna walk and then sleep under the sky...she didn't object..

I won't post pictures of it..almost every of them has my ex on it.ohwell
