Mine has been gone for many years now.
And now while reading these replies, I feel a look into the future, and think of my chilren after I have gone. All their empty ears wishing to hear my laughs again, all my crazy silly goofing around I'd do, or singing and yelling out the words,lol,,and just my hugs hi,,and goodbye,,that we alwaays shared. And then I feel so sad inside,,thinking about all that THEY WOULD BE FEELING THEN.. Life will always move forward, and through that, MOST here will have the dad's pass away before them...I hope everyone takes their time and hearts to TRY and talk with or see,,their dad's here,,or say Prayers for all who now have passed,,, To my Dad, dad we shared a very distant life in our hearts, your drinking and snacking and all your screaming at any and every one around you. That made me hate you when I was young, and when I was old enough to get away from you,,,I DID...you tried to change your life around, but the bad was to great to have all the family forgive you, I really TRIED dad, and you were a nicer man,,, we never got to say goodbye, really, and we had never said I love you, me to you, or you to me, So when you were on your death bed in a coma, for Mothers sake,,I said it THEN,,But dad, knowing now that you had no clues as to how to be a real loving dad,,I forgive you, and from my heart, I love you. And THIS has taken my life-time to realize,,GOD IS GREAT, and GOD has helped me to see. |
