Well it's chilly here but you can still golf, it's not like the east coast...




Oh Mys did I tell you that I made my dates to go to NJ? March 4th to March 14th.


Oh and I had to stop by Verizon on the way home, I wasn't getting emails or text messages until this morning when I was on my way to the dr's and the phone was charging in the car.. something is wrong with the charging connection so it won't charge but barely in the car... It's really messing me up for answering emails and text messages...

A friend told me that I could golf 300 days a year out in New Mexico...lol

But...being from Michigan, I could probably push it another 30 days or so. As long as it's 48-50 degrees or higher, it's golfing weather....lol

Ive got 2 clubs.Just use em for the range though.Havent been in year years years though.Quite relaxing I must say.

I bought a new set this past Spring. I had been using the same set of clubs for 5 years or so. I was absolutely awful at the game, so I could never justify, even to myself, the cost of a good set.

Then, I got a lesson from a friend of mine, and he showed me one little thing I was doing wrong. One minor adjustment with my hands and I took almost 20 strokes off my normal 140-150 for 18 holes.

So. I could finally justify getting new clubs. Went and got a good set on the cheap ( demo models make for REALLY good deals ) and wound up playing a lot more. I took another 15 or so off my score. Now I shoot between 105 and 120 depending on the day. Most of the time I am under 110.

I absolutely love the game. It's funny how many times I hear " You don't LOOK like someone that would play golf. "

Oh....taking the clubs to the range really is relaxing. it's a good way to relieve stress....lol

Yeah ya gotta have them set just right, and your feet side by side , spaced just right and one a little further up than the other.


Makes all the difference.

Make yourself a trip to Michigan during the Summer and I'll be happy to take you out on the course or the driving range and teach you a few things. :-)
