all our plows are already out.........the city yard is across the street from me, & all the plows are gone............ |

Do they plow your street? Or when its like this do they do the main roads first then the other roads? I don't have a clue how they do it, never lived in a place like that before.

all the main ones get it FIRST of course...........and since my road is on the road the plows are located...it gets plowed first.....but thats only a two block stretch...........alot of the plows will be out on the highways after hitting our main roads in town. and if we get blizzard conditions, they most likely will pull the plows off until its over! those conditions are extremely dangerous! for anyone, including the plows!

Oh, I see. I just didn't know. All I ever here about here is Sand Truck's. We don't have enough to do the plows. I just didn't know how they did it is all.

our plows have sand too.........multitasking plows!!!!
 we need that here!!!!!! and they also have something else that gets sprayed down on the highways to help melt all the snow & ice........ |

I have only been in a BAD snow one time. Was in Oklahoma and it snowed 13 inches and I STAYED in the house!!..
 I would have went outside!!.. ..it was pretty though but a mess when it started melting.

i think if i lived where it never snowed, or rarely snowed, id LIKE snow..............
but when you live where you get TONS of it...you really hate the stuff!!!!!!

I like it cause IF we get it its not much and it goes away
fast! I do remember here one time we got about 4 or 5 inches and that is the most I have EVER seen in TX where I am. It was pretty but a big mess as it melted. |
