Seamacs dad had major surgery today, and I am sure she would appreciate some prayers for her father and family!!

Thank you all so very much! So far dad is doing fine, not much pain and no signs of infection...this surgery was very difficult for me as it was colon surgery and colon cancer is what took my husband. So far so good though and counting on it staying that way!!
I owe everyone a big apology, seems it has been two weeks since I have been here and worried a few people! I love living here in Maine and adore my new house, just have been crazy busy! But that is no excuse to simply disappear, I will do better! Thank you all for caring about me enough to notice my absence! You are the greatest and deserve better from me in return. I humbly apoligize. Micky, thanks for this thread, your thoughts and prayers and FOR GETTING ME BACK HERE!!! |

Dad is doing great, his color is perfect and he took a nice long walk in the halls today. Dressed in hospital gown and robe he said he felt like he was going out draped in table cloths! No word on release as yet but I believe we will have him home by this weekend.

Hi Sweets Glad to hear your Daddy is doing so well. Hope he has the same recovery my Dad had from Cancer. He went to the clubhouse today and walked over 15 miles today; at soon to be 83. Don't you worry a bit about being distracted from Mingle. You are always missed but you do what you need to do and we will hold you up in our prayers and good thoughts.
