From the perspective of someone who has been here a long time -- the real difference is that the people who run this site really do care about it. They've done everything they can to make this a fun and friendly place -- that's why our forums aren't (usually!) war zones and battlegrounds. OK, there may be an occasional skirmish or flare-up.... I get fewer scammer/spammers here than I got on other sites, too. And, not to be any ruder or more condescending than I normally am, I just think we have better people on this site....!!  Couldn't have put it better Lex. I think for me I like Mingle for the People, and how the site doesn't allow the pettiness that goes on. People here to enjoy one another and well it is nice to see. One of the first things I noticed way back when, that negativity just isn't allowed here. So refreshing to come here and well relax. I also have to agree the members here make a difference. The pettiness garbage is not in most of us. I can honestly say in the year I have been here I haven't seen the malice that is known on other sites. keep up the great work... charles, ALL the Mod's and last but not least Members... |

The only site I've been on...or will be on now that Susan and I are together...I come here for the forums...
