Date someone who was originally a different sex? I'm watching national geographic and it's talking about "gender bending" and how common it is in nature... plants, animals, fish, etc etc. But uncommon in humans...
So truly, what if you met someone who was "truly born in the wrong gender" and had a sex change to fix it... would you date or have a relationship with this person??
To make it clear... I am NOT taking about gay or lesbian. There is a big difference between transgendered people and gay or lesbian.
And please of course, no bashing or hate talk. I'm just asking the question... if you met someone and found out that he or she had a sex change operation sometime in the past... would you continue a relationship with that person??

well, unless they are also changing the internal organs,I think I would prefer to have a relationship with someone whose parts fit, so to speak. I dont think I can handle the man on the outside/woman on the inside thing,, or vice versa. We could be great friends though.

I agree... I could be good friends. I can be friends with anyone regardless of sexual gender, age, race, short, tall, etc... Some people can, some can't. Bless all of us that can embrace and be friends with someone going thru such a tough thing. flowerforyou From what I have seen, it makes for a very difficult life.

Yeah,, that kind of seems like people playing games and trying to trick other people. I mean if dressing like a different gender is your thing,,fine, but at least dont mislead people who may be interested in romance into believing you are something you aren't. I am sure most crossdressers are upfront, but I think what those who arent upfront do to others kind of sucks.

maybe it's woman's intuition or something, but I can tell when people are a little off.

I'm bisexual so, girl, guy, trans... don't matter! so long as they are nice, true and honest.

BTW- transgendered people are not trying to 'trick' people, that is who they are. They have a sex change not to 'trick you, but to feel good in their skin.

I was referring more to crossdressers,,but I believe anyone who changes their appearance to a gender other than what they were born needs to be honest upfront about who they were BORN and then let the other decide if they wish to continue. For those who are upfront,, BRAVO, but for those who choose to let the other person believe they were born a gender which they werent,, to me is a deceptive and kind of a sucky thing to do to someone.

women and men naturally have different body language, even if a guy acts feminine it still is not the same way that women act, move, and communicate. And facially there is quit a difference in bone structure. I won't be fooled by someone, but like I said I have no problem being friends with them.
