Yeah I remember you dude. My short term memory loss ain't as bad as I would think.

That's cool man. This site is actually alot more fun and way better moderated. Took me a while to get me out of DH mode as far as bad language and assuming everything is a fight...(so I got suspended ALOT)...but, now I really enjoy this place. Very good natured and laid back. I hope you dig it too my good man.

You still doing the trucking gig?

Cool bro. Weather has been great for that kind of run out here. Keep it safe homeboy.

I just got my cdl. (had to for work even though I ain't a driver for my company.) I was all panicking cause everyone else was failing the tests left and right....I aced it first time out. Took everyone else 2+hours to fail the written exam. took me 1/2 an hour. Passed. not as bad as I thought and I didn't even study the haz mat part....they sprung that on us.

I bet wheatgrass would leave a mark, for some reason I imagine it being all spiky and having prickers.

Nahhhh...it's usually powdered.

The worst that could happen would be feeling like I was having hayseeds thrown at me...lmao

That or get it in my nose and wind up having a sneezing fit...lol

But then again....if she mixed it and threw the GLASS.....THAT could leave a mark...lol

Powdered?

It's freshly grown and squeezed when you order it ... unless you grow and squeeze your own too.

One of my fave places to eat out – and I don’t do that very often – is of course vegetarian. They make a mean nutburger!!! Top it off with BBQ sauce and jalapeños and hmmmmm! drool

Powdered? Seriously? Your mouth can't absorb the nutrients unless it's fresh!

Oh, that wasn't what I was going to throw at you anyway. I was thinking silverware! (j/k) flowerforyou

Eww! No!

I don't eat meat, so they'r safe, right!

Nuts -- as in not crazy but actually nuts from a tree!

Here's a recipe but they do "beat" an egg so prepare yourself!

Your boys are safe!!! flowerforyou

1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1 cup canned chickpeas, drained
1/4 cup diced red onion
1 beaten egg
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 tablespoon salt-free herb seasoning blend
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 slices mild Cheddar cheese
1 pita bread round or use hamburger buns
1/4 cup prepared Ranch salad dressing
2 leaves romaine lettuce
1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 avocado - peeled, pitted and sliced

1.Place walnuts and sunflower seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally until lightly toasted and fragrant, about 5 minutes.

2.In a medium bowl, mash garbanzo beans with a fork, or chop in a food processor. Stir in the onion, egg, parsley, and toasted nuts. Season with pepper and seasoning blend, and mix well.

3.Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Divide the bean mixture into 2 patties, and fry in the hot oil for about 3 minutes on each side, or until well browned and heated through. Place a slice of cheese over each patty, and remove from heat.

4.Place the pita round in the same dry skillet the nuts were in, and heat for about 1 minute on each side or set on the BBQ. Cut the round in half, spread ranch dressing inside of each, and line the pockets with romaine leaves. Place a cheesy patty into each one, and top with sliced tomato and avocado, whatever topping you like -- also good on hamburger buns toasted on the BBQ.

WTF are they feeding you kids in Cali? (I gotta assume that is where you are)......sure you are fine as hell but, common....by no stretch of the imagination could that be considered a burger.

Wasn't much different when my brother brought his spawn to Texas for a visit....they wanted mexican food....with no beans....or cheese....or tomato....or jalapeno.....

I asked..."you want that served on a f**king bun"? I got no idea what mexican food is in Iowa.....but, I know for a fact that it ain't mexican.

There are plenty of hearty meat eaters here!

We raised clean beef, pork and poultry on our ranch but after we sold that part off, and just kept the horse breeding business, I couldn't eat commercial meat. The hormones, dyes, and bad stuff swore me off everything. This was 23 years ago when "organic" wasn't available.

*pfft* Don't worry about me though. I love food and you can see I'm pretty damn healthy! winking

When I train for races, my diet is more than sufficient! biggrin

My boyfriend's father (from years ago) came to visit us from Tenn. He never had an avocado! slaphead

When I was in Italy the first time, I learned quickly that “sauce” is gravy. smitten

I love learning about other people’s cultural diets.
