I'm in Pennsylvania too. I have a candle in the window so Elmer can
find his way here. |

Then drop on the deck and flop like a fish!

OK -- if you think it'll help.

Couldn't hurt...watch for splinters, though...

Oh No I hope that window is closed with how the winds have been blowing
because if not Elmer may melt if he gets caught by the candle. |

They detoured to Indy, but thanks for the candle anyway.
Thanks for keeping track of their wherabouts Nus. Good job on the Spongebob song, haven't heard that since the grandkids moved away Think Elmer is annoying Terry though, still fighting over the phone. Elmer is being pretty obnoxious. May end up on the side of the road any time now. Sorry about the storm guys, we had really nice sun today, but said a rainstorm is moving in this weekend. |

We needed the rain, the storm was actually quite beautiful. the trees
were bent over doing their dance, the lightening was cracking and making designs in the sky, while the thunder was beating the drums. Hope Elmer survives the trip. |

Sounds like a cool storm. I like to watch lightning storms as long as I
am inside a house and not out in it. Had one in the middle of the night several years ago when I lived in Spokane, hit so hard thought the house had exploded, the house jumped, woke us up, scared to death. Looked out the window and saw another strike went all the way to the ground, was dry lightning, and car alarms were going off and sirens, had started some grass fires. |

Im goofy, I sat on my front porch which has a lot of metal on it. Its
nice and calm now. the scent of the rain is still in the air, and off and on it will sprinkle somemore. I keep going outside and watching what little can be seen in the dark. Now Im wondering am I going out there to watch what is left of the storm, or watching for my daughter who is to bring me a caramal apple home from the street fair..... |
Yum, caramel apple sounds good. Street fair in the storm, sounds
interesting. Trying to hold down all the awnings, would have played havoc with cotton candy and the booths. |
That could explain why I havent received my carmal apple. They may
surprise me yet. They might cheat and go to walmart and buy some from there in the fruit and veggie section..... |
Oh well, "any port in a storm" right??? At least you have a Wal-Mart -
our nearest one is 30 miles one way, or about 50 or so the other direction. Small town life, some times I love it, some times, not. |
This may sound stupid but I prefered it before the Walmart came in. Too
many small businesses have gone under because they can't compete with the pricing. Give me a mom and pop store anyday, where you go in and they know you by name. |
This town is pretty much all mom and pop, fight franchises big time,
have a Hollywood video but fought it tooth and nail, have a McDonald's and Subway, no other chain food, Safeway and QFC, the only grocery stores, 3 gas stations, rest is pretry much mom and pop, advertise it as a tourist town. Is where they filmed "An Officer and a Gentleman" many years ago. |

Someday I hope to be able to travel. I want to see the USA, and not just
the big spots. Your town sounds like the perfect place to visit. |

Im king post killer.... watch...

Really is beautiful, surrounded by water on 3 sides, have a ferry dock
downtown, and can travel up the coast from here. You can look across the Straits and see Vancouver Island, BC. I would like to travel too someday. |
