You might also want to consentrate your search in your area of venue...Check the forums for your City and Surrounding areas you may be interersted in.

There is another avenue as well. Have you heard of MEETUP.com? They have meetups events you can aparticipate in, Join in the fun and actually meet real live people that actually get off the computer and go out and have fun with similiar interests as your own. Check it out and good luck.

Someone suggested high school football games, etc. Also, try auto parts store, Home Depot...places like that. In my younger days whenever I popped the hood on my car I had more than enough help.

I know what is meant by making friends.. I, too, am not interested in a "relationship" but, right now at least, friendship and companionship and, if a relationship develops, then that would be nice too. I am so glad I found Mingle2 because I have found so many friends... On those lonely weekend nights, I play the games or post on the forums and dont feel so "all alone" I Have friends...
