Something like that. It all happened something like this....... I went into my closet to get my WonderWoman Under-roos and the light burnt out. I turned around quickly and hit my junk off the doorknob causing me to quickly buckle over in pain. At this time I knock over a life sized wax figure of Jim Morrison which hits me in the melon rendering me unconcious. Soon afterward, my cat comes along and lays on my face causing me to sufficate to the point of putting me in a month long coma. After waking up, I go to find he suddenly bolts down the stairs. I go chasing after him and trip. After a not so gracefull flight down 21 steps I fly head first into the book shelf which wastes no time in falling on top of me pinning me. After being trapped for a year and living on various M+M's and other tiny morsels found where shelf used to stand. The before mentioned feline, being restless from not going outside, clawed enough of the wood away to allow me to escape and now here I am again.

Whew, glad you made it back...

It's a miracle I tell you. That's all a true story too. Well, to the best of my recollection. All that trauma scrambled my grey matter a bit.

I'm just happy they don't make furniture like they used to. Otherwise, I could have been trapped under that bookshelf for decades!!!!!! Good for me that M+Ms have that hard shell that makes them last forever!

There is a message limit? News to me. I think it is just if you send a duplicate message to so many in a short time. An effort to discourage bots from advertiseing. Only time it is a problem is if you want to tell a lot of people a personal greeting for a holiday or something like that.

Thanks, Star. Too bad the doctors told me to stay away from campfires. After the accident they get the idea that I'm too ridden with bad luck to be near open flames. I'm guessing they're afraid the hair will go up in such an intense manner that it will stink for miles.

It's not the dups PS... It could be for bots too but it's also so that you don't hoard threads, etc... It was in the "rules" a while back I remember reading it...

I think you're right Prncs. I sorta remember reading that a while back also. Likely mostly like that to keep bots away. Does help a little with the spammers that show up for a few hours just to screw with people though, but that's also why we have mods.

Yea I think the mods need to catch a couple of people in the act that are harrassing people. Course strict enforcement of rules may be what that is trying to do. I just block the really obnoxious ones.

That and a while ago there were people posting one after the other and I guess they felt others weren't getting a chance..

The site is free and just because one is allowed to use a site it does not mean there are no rules or limitations to the use of the site.

As IndnPrncs has noted many times there were reasons for those restrictions to be put in place.

In order for some not to flood the the forums or threads not giving others a chance to give their opinion or to create a thread.

Those limitations have been in place for several months now as well posted by admin they were put into place and the reasons.

The site only tries to make it where all may enjoy the forums not just a select few...

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh how'd I misunderstand that one? I'm thinking that is as Pacific said then... I have heard there can be scammer emails so perhaps it's to control that a bit...

true... actually staying on topic isn't that much of a problem in most threads.. every here and there it goes off but for the most part things stay on topic... Of course I'm not in all areas so not sure if some are different than the main ones..
