He doesn't even
have to be
comical or
side splittingly
funny

I'm not interested
in a man
because of his
Brad Pitt
looks

And I surely
won't hold it
against him
if he doesn't read
books

I just want
a man
that holds me
so gently
tight

And wants me
to be there
right at his side
be it day or
night

I so dearly want
the one man
that loves me
with all of his
heart

And wants me
to be there
through good and bad
together each day we
start

The man
that will
be there
for the rest of my

and I'm so glad

if everyone thought this way the divorce rate would be way under 70% for first time marriages, far too many get married for all the wrong reasons, now excuse me while I comb my hair and put on the "duke"..., nice

I am in agreement my friend! I would love to have all of those things that I mentioned as well but they are just a bonus to the real thing that I desire so much. If people would take the time to read my profile they would see that this poem is not asking for anything more or less than the daisies that life has to offer.

Seeing you swagger like the Duke would make me giggle and that would be a nice thing, knowing you are a sweet man that is doing it just for that reason would warm my heart.
