There are some nice looking people on here with some very ugly minds. True. A picture does nothing to guarantee a good personality but I do think it makes it a least a risk to the ones who post a photo if they are married or living with some one. Most people want to avoid getting caught up in that kind of mess. If one is a "cheater", as in another post, you will see that manipulation and lies are their trademark...Photographs or not withstanding...Sure webcams are one answer, but at the end of the day "cheaters" will still find a way around by manipulating your very suspicions. |

It's about saying your 26, light brn, athletic build, employed. Then find out your 52 gray hair 300 lbs and your income is from the social services thats what I'm talking about....DAH Why is it that people think that you will respone and set up a date without seeing them first. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...******** you and I all know what we look for. I mean come on lets be honest here isn't that whats this whole thing is about. This pretains to both guys and girls so I'm not judging anyone,. I'm confused.....what is this whole thing about? Don't forget maturity...I don't care how good you look or how ugly you are...if you are immature it is a no-go. Oh not me. Went on 2 blind dates, one as a teenager and one about 2 months ago. NEVER again. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We all have our preferences as to what someone looks like. The person that doesn't have their picture up has the advantage because they already know what the other person looks like. Why have other wonder what you look like? Some refuse to even send pictures in an email. If someone cannot send me an email with a pic, it tells me they are hiding something. Honesty is always the best policy and those that refuse to let someone see their face, then you cannot expect someone to just go with the flow. You have to give in order to receive.

I don't even give an email address for pictures. If they're not posting pictures in their profiles like most others, and actually want to meet, there's a problem.

Even pic's don't do it for me. I wont meet someone without seeing them on a web cam first. I have nothing to hide, so why should anyone that interested in me. I understand your thoughts with web cam /pics... a few years ago I bought a cam.To my suprise 95% who wanted to see me on cam...wanted cyber sex. so do I use my cam now..ahhhh no...with the exception I'll turn it on just to prove i'm the one in the pic. |
