I'm reading about ebola right now

you think flu is scary

ebola liquifies body tissue like kidneys and livers and spleens and hearts and lungs. with a 90% death rate. If 100 people get ebola 90 will die. if a million people get it 900,000 will die

THAT is scary to me

its fast and they don't even know what spreads it

luckily it's TOO fast and kills all its victims before they have time to spread it effectively

I'll take the flu over that

gimme that shot

"Some vaccines contain live, attenuated virus microorganisms. These are live micro-organisms that have been cultivated under conditions that disable their virulent properties, or which use closely-related but less dangerous organisms to produce a broad immune response."

From Wikipedia

Wikipedia is not fact.
Most of it is written by the readers.
I could write in there that chickens cause chicken pox, and it would be there for months and maybe forever.

the flu shot uses killed viruses

you can't catch the flu from it

the nasal vaccine uses live viruses you can catch the flu from it
So is the shot.. any vaccine you get is a live virus. That's how you build up immunity to it. You only get sick after one if the virus was already in your system!

thats what i thought, but i just got a letter from the health department saying the H1N1 is a killed virus, so whom do you beleive. i going back and forth on the shot for my daughter... she is six

As far as the seasonal flu shot already got it myself...

And I do plan on getting the H1N1 as well due to a weak immune system I will take my chances with the shot.....

Which in fact the shot does not keep you from getting the flu. What it does do is if you happen to get the flu the duration and severity of it will be less.

I'm letting the sheeple have my flu shot. I'm building up my immune system naturally so I don't need corporate pharma's vaccines. smokin
