A good hacker is easy enough to find..have your complete identity erased and become a wanderer....I know one who has done such a thing.

its not so hard really

easy to get ID documentation on the black market (just pretend you're Mexican)

use cash for everything. ride the bus instead of planes (no ID required)

go to high population centers and blend

No, I'm not talking about human invisibility, I'm talking about becoming a non-person or fugitive in today's (and tomorrow's world of technology.)

Let's say you don't want to be found. Big brother is after you, and Black Ops wants you dead. How would you suddenly disappear?

Let's say the world's worse criminal organization is after you. The COMPANY is after you... you just found out.. what do you do, where do you go?

I've gone travelling without any identification, within the US. If you treat people well, and work hard, and set your materialistic expectations low (and don't own a car, house, bank account, etc), and don't engage in any of the illegal activities that matter to people, it is easy to drop out and enter into barter and/or cash transactions and never have any interaction with law enforcement.

This kind of thing is much harder for mexican-americans, due to profiling, but a very large number of them are successful at it.

Oh, yeah if you want to change you ID. There are people who have stacks of 'lost' driver licenses, and who will find a card for you that matches your face and age, etc.

One day they are going to RFID these things, and do a better job of keeping track of invalidating them when lost.

Homeless wanderer is the common way to fly below radar.

Exactly. If you appear homeless, but harmless, and have a minimum of respect and sense, then no one will want to bother with you, especially not the police.

having been born and raise until the age of six in houston i disapeared at least once a week behind what we called the fog buggy; a truck that would expel a huge plume of ddt to kill mosquitoes. all the neighbor kids would join me and my brother disapearing into the poisonous fog while the parents would sit in their lawn chairs smoking and saying "look at johnny. isn't he cute?" many here i suppose will say that explains my brain as it has "matured". how we made it to puberty is truly a wonder. i can recall standing on the bench seat of dad's 59 impalla, hands on the solid steal dash as we tooled down the freeway at eighty mph. seatbelts hadn't been invented back then. a true wonder that we baby boomers survived.
