Why do people beleive that asking for someone to be attractive physically a taboo? Don't we all do it and the ones who say they don't just "hatin" ? Is looks any different than any other God given thing such as brains?

Nope. Good looking to me is different than good looking to someone else. I like to say, " He has the look that I am searching for, I'll know it when I see it."

Well what matters MOST is what they are made of on the inside..........looks are not EVERYTHING!

I tried the whole it's on the inside that counts. I'll take a hot guy TO ME over it all. But if your not physically attracted, it's hard to stomach the idea of even a kiss.

Well, I dont think there are surgeries to alter your brains,,lol. Otherwise, I think it is important to be attracted to your mate and we will all be attracted to different things. Some will focus on physical traits and others upon character traits. For me, I need to be attracted to someone physically but the things I find attractive are far more diverse than just the stereotypical denzel or brad features. There are far too many pnysical details that can attract me to rule out very many,,(which is maybe my dilemma,, I usually will be attracted to anyone with character who takes care of themselve. Doesnt have to be a model,, could just be their smile.)

As long as people satisfy their own needs for appearance and intelligence in a partner -- who cares?

Too many busy-bodies in the world that try and make it their business to criticize others for the preferences.

The curiosity to "understand" why people do what they do is human nature but really it's a perilous and time consuming journey. We will never know "why".

OMG,, a smile can make all the difference to me. Someone can look attractive and then have a yuck mouth and IM gagging in the corner. But someone else may seem average and then have a smile that lights the room and I am drooling,,lol

Well, let’s compare just a couple of “God’s gifts” for a minute.

Intellect… when brought to fruition can generate cures for world spread illnesses, cultivate food resources for impoverished countries, and lead the whole world into the future with unthinkable technologies. (Just a few examples)

Physical Beauty… when properly preened can bring forth bountiful gifts for deserving countries too…ummmm... a Trojan Horse maybe? (Sorry couldn’t think of any other way that personal beauty has had an effect on the world at large.)

yeah Yuck mouth i can"t do ! But I actually met someone that was incredibly beautiful and when i met her in person she had an issue i could not get passed. One of the nicest people i ever met but i just couldn't do it! I don't know not trying to be shallow but how do you get pass something that just makes you completey not want intimacy?

IQ's can't possibly indicate what someone will DO with their gift...so I don't understand the point of them frankly.

I'm just messing with you because I found the last part of your question amusing...maybe only because of how I think of it.

Of course I want my future partner to be attractive to me...but that attraction can come in many other forms.
