I remember those days. Food fights in the cafeteria. Putting "kick me" signs on the back of the nerdy science teacher. Telling my fourth grade teacher she looked like Sloth from The Goonies. Ahhhhhhh! Those were the days. I was such a hellion.laugh laugh

laugh My mom would have too. I'd get sent to jail if I did that though, our schools complex is out in the country now. It's a 20 minute drive by car...so that's not an option if it ever happens to my kid.

Actually its good that you have to be involved, some parents are completely in the dark about what their kids are up to in school.

I didn't take the bus until high school. I missed it one very cold winter day. I DID NOT ask my mom for a ride. I walked. It was about an 8 mile hike. Took me forever to get there. My mom would have been pissed if I bothered her.

Wow that sucks. I may be pissed at her right now but making sure she gets somewhere safe isn't a bother to me.

Most parents are in the dark because they choose to be! Expect the school to take care of their problem. And, no, I am not a teacher! The good parents are the ones who ARE involved!
