As isaac_dede suggested, you can email them. There is the forums as well (great place to chat to people) or you can IM them if there IM option is turned on How do I send an instant message to someone? Sending an instant message is simple — just go to their profile, and if they are online, you'll see a button labeled "Instant Message" near where their friends are displayed.
